The phone rang at quarter to five in Intuit’s QuickBase office and a support agent about to leave for the day picked up. Little did he know he was about to get the most interesting customer lead ever…

“Hello,” the agent said. “This is Intuit, how can I help you?”

“Ho, ho, hello!” said the jolly old voice on the other end of the line.

“Santa?!” asked the agent, who was surprised and a little nervous as he tried to remember if he had been naughty or nice this year.

“The one and only,” Santa replied.

“What can I do for you?”


“I’ve got efficiency issues,” said Santa. “I need something to help me manage my production and distribution systems, and to organize and track millions of toy requests.” He continued, “I need a way to get up-to-the-minute status changes when I’m on the sleigh, and if you could help me track my employees, that would be great. I can’t tell which elves are working on what anymore!”

“Sounds like you need QuickBase,” said the agent, trying to sound calm as he turned with a jerk and frantically waved his boss down.
